Phil Armentrout Memorial Trap Shoot for Charity

The Proceeds from this event benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.  Fire Chief Phil Armentrout answered his last alarm on December 27, 2005, after a 12 year battle with cancer.  He started this event in 2005 to benefit the Relay for Life, and his Department carries on that tradition with honor.  Due to the success of previous Trap Shoots, the Murrieta Fire Department was able to serve as the presenting sponsor ($10,000 level)  and have been able to contribute over $20,000 to the Relay for Life.  We know that with your help the event will be an even bigger success this year.

Attached are all the necessary forms and waivers required prior to your participation in this event.  Please return the Entry/Liability Release Form and Temecula Valley Gun Club Hold Harmless Agreement for each shooter.  *** Special Note – 5 shooter Teams this year ***

We will be shooting 3 rounds of American Trap (75 targets per person at 16 yards, one shot per target). We will be shooting as a team of 5 with a station rotation after every 5^th shot.

As this is a team event the final score will be based on the total amount of team hits out of a total of 375 possible. We will be awarding trophies for the top 3 highest team scores.
