Our City is home to one of the only two genomics sequencing business incubators in the United States, and it’s helping to define our region’s foundation as a future biotechnology hub.
In partnership with some of the world’s leading research and educational organizations, Murrieta Genomics is advancing the use of genomic sequencing in medicine, agriculture, forensics, veterinary and consumer applications, mentoring entrepreneurs and investing in solutions through science.
“We are a true incubator," explains founding partner Jay Goth. “We’re offering dedicated bench space to fledgling companies at basically zero cost, helping them to define their business model and validate their science, and then investing in the companies that graduate the incubator.”
The team at Murrieta Genomics has put together a fun, animated video that tells their story, in language that even non-scientists can appreciate. You can view the video here.
Murrieta Genomics is one of several tenants at the City's Innovation Center. The Center house seven technology-based business start-ups, offers shared work and meeting spaces and provides access to business resources such as SCORE and the Veteran's Business Action Committee.
