Murrieta Fire Department Opens Doors to Community Members

City of Murrieta –The Murrieta Fire Department is conducting their annual Open House event at Station 2 at 40060 California Oaks Road on November 1, 2008. The station will be open to the public from 10:00am-2:00pm. Residents are encouraged to stop by and visit, as well as learn more about Fire Prevention and Disaster Preparedness.

There will be Disaster Preparedness Checklists, fire prevention displays, and demonstrations by fire crews. Fire apparatus and other equipment will be on hand for the public to view. Refreshments will be served. This event has been ongoing every year and promotes awareness about fire prevention and gives the public an opportunity to see the equipment and personnel that protect the community. Parking is available in the parking lot south of the Station off of Cal Oaks Road. Through this effort the Murrieta Fire Department strives to protect all who live, work, visit, and invest in the city and is committed to protecting the public.
